OPS member Philip Joyce recently participated in a Readers Challenge with
Digital Photo Magazine
and came away with a Fuji FinePix S304 digital camera!

Digital Photo Magazine

Three readers were invited by Digital Photo to use the Fujifilm S2 Pro camera and provided accessories to shoot images that show an evening in the life of the Walthamstow Greyhound Stadium - "It's a dog's life".

Fuji gave a brief run through and introduction to the camera before moving to the stadium's trackside for images of the dogs and the racing along with candid shots of the people, the bets, the staff and the stadium. Readers were accompanied by Digital Photo Features Editor Amie Barber and Technical Editor Ben Turner, as well as Fuji staff who offered advice and help on shooting digital, using the S2 and getting the best from the tracks.

Philip said 'The Fuji camera was amazing and was extremely easy to use. I took nearly 200 pictures and the camera had the capacity to store as many again!'

At the same time readers took part in the challenge, competing against one another for the best set of images. Readers had to choose just five of their shots from the evening to submit for judging. Fuji, Digital Photo Stadium staff formed the judging panel and choose Philip's panel for the top prize of a FinePix camera...and the pictures well they can be seen in the February issue of Digital Photo magazine which goes on sale at the end of January."
